Jessie joined FinDev Canada in 2021, where she is responsible for overseeing 2X Canada, a blended finance facility funded by Global Affairs Canada.

Prior to joining FinDev Canada, Jessie held the position of Director of Investments at Développement international Desjardins, and prior to that, she was Senior Investment Officer at Triple Jump, in the Netherlands. She has worked on investments and held various board seats in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Jessie has a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from McGill, a master’s degree in Development Economics from Dalhousie, and a PhD in Agriculture Economics from Université Laval. She speaks French, English, Dutch and Spanish.
