Hannah Wolkwitz
Hannah Wolkwitz is the Director, Business Integrity at FinDev Canada. Her team leads the identification, assessment, and management of business integrity risk and value-creation opportunities across the investment lifecycle. It is also responsible for the implementation of FinDev Canada’s financial crime policy.
Previously, Hannah worked at British International Investment (BII), the UK’s Development Finance Institution. There, she helped build the business integrity and corporate governance function, co-authored the organization’s Policy on Responsible Investing, and worked directly with investee companies to make their businesses more resilient and impactful.
Prior to joining BII she worked at Control Risks in India and China, advising private and public sector organizations on managing operational risks related to fraud, corruption, violence, regulatory and internal investigations, and other major incidents. Before that, she conducted research on political development, economic change, and security at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Singapore.
Hannah has an MSc in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Political Science from John Cabot University.
